Dioptric Design has been exploring and sharing the nexus of technology and creativity since 2017. Here are some of the highlights.

Lo-fi Photography

Vintage digital cameras are a curiosity. They are representations of their time period, and they create photos with a certain unrefined quality. You can check out some of my photos in the galleries.

Front-end design

Interface design is an artistic medium complimented free software. I’ve experimented in designing interface configurations for programs like qtile, dwm and neovim. As well as my own color scheme called Iris.

Digital Art

The computer is my favorite creative tool. I use it to explore 3D graphics, Digital painting, photo manipulation, creative coding, etc.

Free Software

Software is an important part of contemporary design. Free and Open Source Software is paramount to making useful software available to creative people. I write about all of my favorite software. For instance NeoVim, Khal, and Qtile.

Traditional Art

There is a irreplicable quality in art made with physical implements. There is value in the labor involved. Although I mainly focus on less laborious techniques I’ve explored painting and drawing.

Multimedia

In up coming projects I plan to synthesize audio visual elements to create a multimedia experience. You can check out some of my music and animations.

The goal of Dioptric Design has always been to distribute beautiful images and ideas.
